Description

tesa® 4331 is a high-quality masking tape made of a polyester film (PET/cellulose nonwoven) laminated with a nonwoven backing and featuring a silicone rubber adhesive. It was specifically developed for applications involving high temperatures and mechanical stress. The tape offers strong adhesion, flat masked edges after application, and easy, low-residue removal. It is ideal for scratch- and impact-resistant powder coatings followed by high-temperature curing, continuous bonding of siliconized papers and films, and masking printed circuit boards in a wave soldering bath. With a thickness of 110 µm, an elongation at break of 100%, and a tensile strength of 53 N/cm, tesa® 4331 delivers reliable performance even under demanding conditions.
