Leukoplast elastomull adhesive, cohesive fixing bandage, white

Leukoplast Elastomull Haft, cohesive adhesive bandage, white

Self-adhesive cohesive bandage with latex-free polymer—adheres to itself, not to skin or hair.

Description

Elastomull Haft is an elastic, synthetic cohesive bandage. What sets it apart from ordinary cohesive bandages is its coating: a synthetic polymer ensures that the layers adhere to each other—but not to the skin or hair. This eliminates the need for clips or adhesive tape to secure the bandage.

Because the layers adhere securely to one another, the bandage provides an excellent, wrinkle-free fit and can be applied quickly. The polymer used is latex-free. Available in two widths.

Summary

“Cohesive” means the bandage stays in place on its own. This eliminates the need for staples, which can come loose, and adhesive tape, which can pull on sensitive skin—and while many cohesive bandages contain latex, this one expressly does not.
