Description

The performance of an absorbent compress depends on its construction: The absorbent pad must have sufficient capacity to absorb large amounts of wound exudate without leaking through. Leukoplast Compress Absorbent Soft consists of a blend of rayon and pulp, encased in a binder-free nonwoven fabric.

“Binder-free” means there are no adhesives in the nonwoven fabric that could come into contact with the wound. This facilitates pain-free dressing changes without compromising epithelialization—the newly formed skin remains where it belongs when the dressing is removed.
