The sterile, transparent Hydrofilm® film dressing provides reliable wound protection and optimal healing conditions for a variety of applications.

Description

Hydrofilm® is a self-adhesive, transparent, and waterproof film dressing made of semipermeable polyurethane film, specifically designed to protect dry or slightly exuding, primary-healing wounds. It reliably protects against the entry of bacteria, external contaminants, and mechanical irritation. Thanks to its flexible and transparent design, Hydrofilm® allows for continuous wound inspection without changing the dressing, while ensuring a high degree of freedom of movement. The rounded corners ensure secure adhesion, while the film allows water vapor to escape, thereby protecting against maceration. It is also ideal for securing wound dressings, catheters, and cannulas, as well as serving as a sealing element in negative pressure wound therapy with the Vivano® system. To remove the dressing, simply stretch it slightly, which allows for pain-free removal.
