The hydroactive HydroTac® foam wound dressing with AquaClear Gel technology promotes accelerated and atraumatic wound healing in acute and chronic wounds.

Description

HydroTac® is an innovative foam wound dressing specifically developed for the treatment of wounds in the granulation and epithelialization phases with low to moderate exudation. The unique AquaClear Gel technology provides active, bifunctional moisture management in the wound microenvironment: The hydrogel maintains optimal wound moisture and prevents sticking, while the absorbent foam layer reliably absorbs excess exudate—even under compression. The outer polyurethane layer is gas-permeable as well as liquid- and microbe-impermeable, effectively protecting the wound from bacteria and external contaminants. Thanks to the gel on the wound side, atraumatic dressing changes are possible, and the slight self-adhesive effect facilitates handling. Hypoallergenic adhesive tapes or bandages are recommended for long-term fixation.
