The B. Braun Omnican® 40 single insulin syringe is specially designed for the subcutaneous injection of U-40 insulin and offers a volume of 1 ml or 40 i.U. The syringe is characterized by an integrated cannula that is available in sizes Ø 0.30 mm x 8 mm or 12 mm, and enables precise and low -pain injection. It is equipped with a thin-wall technology needle that has an extremely fine 3-facet cut and a special silicone coating for easy penetration. The clearly readable scaling enables an exact dosage. Other characteristics include a highly transparent cylinder for the simple detection of air bubbles, a piston with a double sealing ring and an integrated piston stop to avoid leakage. The syringe is latex-free, PVC-free and DEHP-free and meets the requirements of EN ISO 8537: 2008.
