Artiflex, highly puffed upholstery cotton, non-sterile

Artiflex, highly puffed padding, non-sterile

High-bulk padding made of 100% synthetic fibers—soft surface, wrinkle-free fit.

Description

Artiflex is the standard version of the high-loft padding bandage used for padding under rigid and supportive casts. It protects exposed areas from pressure points caused by hard plaster or cast material—and because a cast is often worn for weeks at a time, the material must be gentle on the skin throughout that period.

The bandage has a soft surface texture, fits wrinkle-free, is breathable, skin-friendly, and conforms to the body. Plaster and cast casts padded with Artiflex can be easily removed with plaster shears or an oscillating saw. Artiflex is made of 100% synthetic fibers.
