The B.Braun Mini-Spike® filter with microSpitze is specially designed in order to facilitate and ensure the removal and injection of medication from multi-cans containers. This spike has an integrated 0.45 µm ventilation filter and a 5 µm particle filter, which together offer a high protection level against contamination. The micros tip enables a cost -saving and efficient residual emptying of small drug containers by minimizing the loss of medication. The duration of the spike depends on the specific durability and storage conditions of the respective drug, which enables an adapted and safe application.
