The PV2 variant features increased tear strength, higher elongation at break, and a thicker adhesive coating, making it ideal for rough and 3D surfaces. The tape enables sharp paint edges, offers excellent paint adhesion, and can be removed easily and cleanly after use. Thanks to its high temperature resistance of up to 140 °C (60 minutes) and excellent flame resistance, it is ideally suited for professional painting processes in industry, trade, and workshops.

Key Features

Special masking tape for plastic parts and multi-color painting

Material: Soft PVC film (backing material: PVC film)

Adhesive: Natural rubber

Color: golden yellow

Available in 2 sizes: 66 m x 1.02 m; 66 m x 19 mm

Easy and clean to remove

Increased tear strength and elongation at break (elongation at break: 252%, tear strength: 43)

Thicker application for rough surfaces

Ideal for 3D surfaces

Precise edge masking on painted and unpainted plastics as well as metal surfaces

Sharp paint edges: yes

Paint adhesion: yes

Flame resistance: very good

Die-cut: yes

Thickness: 130

Temperature resistance (60 min.): 140 °C

Adhesion to steel: 5.5 N/cm

Applications

Multi-color painting in automotive and bodywork construction

Precise edge masking of painted and unpainted plastic parts

Masking of metal surfaces during painting

Use on 3D and textured surfaces

Industrial painting lines with elevated temperature exposure

Trades, workshops, and automotive refinishing

Summary

tesaflex 4244 PV2 Special Masking Tape, golden yellow, offers the highest precision for multi-color painting, impresses with strong adhesion, sharp paint edges, and clean removal, making it the professional choice for demanding painting and masking jobs on plastic and metal surfaces.

For more information, please refer to the data sheets

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0761/7069/0884/files/Platzhalter_tesa_800x800_f6b727fb-3baa-4866-9dcd-34beefec64ef.jpg?v=1790904428
